Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
Time: The event is part of the Wintersköl festival, with the tasting portion typically running from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Location: Wagner Park in Aspen.
A legendary soup competition where local restaurants compete for bragging rights. Attendees can sample a variety of creative soups and vote for their favorite.
Summit for Life
Date: 12/06/2025
Time: The race starts at 5:30 PM MST.
Location: Aspen Mountain (race from the base to the Sundeck at the summit).
A unique nighttime uphill race up Aspen Mountain to raise funds for organ and tissue donation. Participants can hike, skin, or snowshoe to the summit for a celebratory party.
Aspen Ruggerfest
Date: 09/18/2025 – 09/21/2025
Time: Match play typically runs from 9:30 AM daily.
Location: Rio Grande Park and other fields in Aspen.
A premier amateur rugby tournament that draws teams from across the globe for four days of intense competition and a lively social atmosphere in downtown Aspen.
Aspen Filmfest
Date: 09/16/2025 – 09/21/2025
Time: Screening times will be announced closer to the event.
Location: Aspen Film Isis Theatre and other venues in Aspen.

Snowmass Balloon Festival
Date: 09/12/2025 – 09/14/2025
Time: Balloon launches are from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. A Night Glow event takes place on Friday evening.
Location: Snowmass Town Park, Snowmass Village, CO.
This picturesque festival features over 30 hot air balloons launching at sunrise, creating a spectacular visual experience set against the stunning fall colors of the Rocky Mountains.
JAS Labor Day Experience
